Garden Club
Developed from the Brockton Branch of the Massachusetts Civic Federation, the Brockton Garden Club was founded in November of 1929 with 74 Charter Members.
Vegetable Gardening for Everyone
The importance of vegetable gardening for families and the environment was emphasized by Susan Hammond at the March 26, 2018 general meeting of the Brockton Garden Club. Susan Hammond, a lifetime Master Gardener with the Massachusetts Gardener's Federation, also shared tips and ideas for setting up vegetable gardens in a variety of settings. The hospitality theme was "In Like A Lion, Out Like A Lamb", and the hospitality committee was again very successful in providing delicious refreshments. (Photos by Janet Trask)
