Trip to Suzanne Mahler's Gardens and Cachato Nursery, July 22, 2017

Suzanne Mahler, daylily expert and horticulturist, gave garden club members a tour of her extensive and beautiful gardens in Hanover on July 22. She explained methods of creating new colors and varieties of daylilies from existing flowering plants. She also gave tips on pond design and best plants for use in shade and border gardens. After lunch, garden club members were joined by Suzanne at Cachato Nursery in Holbrook where they explored new plants and garden designs. (Photos by Janet Trask)
